A journey. That’s how I would describe life for everyone, but I see it that way personally. After high school, I was unsure of the direction I wanted for my life and chose to volunteer at a non-profit organization based out of New Zealand for a couple of years. During that time I was involved in numerous relief projects in many countries and got to know countless people from all walks of life. These experiences were life changing and I am forever grateful for them. Since being back, I have had several roles that have helped me understand how to communicate effectively with people (see my resume for more details). They also stoked my fervor to see accessibility thrive in places where others might not look. User satisfaction is paramount no matter what position I am in, both in my personal life and my professional endeavors.
User Experience is a meld of my passion for people and my desire to improve this world, one step at a time. Whether those improvements are the intricate details of technology, or involve simple everyday tasks, I find great joy in whatever the process may be.
